Does anyone know about these boots? Do you think the large will fit my Clydesdale cross?

I haven't seen them over here yet, just in Europe. Where are you finding them, Lea-Anne?

Lea-Anne,

I'm not familiar with them, but if you end up getting some, please let us know how the sizes work out.

The DSB2s are too small for my horse. The XL I bought for the rear fit his front legs!

I have DSBs too, Chris, and have also tried PC sport medicine boots but find they don't fit well on really big horses. So I'm forced to use regular polos which just don't give the level of support I want. Plus riding 3 horses means 12 polos to re-roll every day - big pain in the a$$! I bought a bandage roller which does help but does nothing to cut down on the amount of washing needed. I really want boots that just need a quick rinse after use instead. The Veredus Piaffe boots look like they would be very easy care.

Definitely want to hear how you get on with them, Lea-Anne!

I got the boots yesterday!! I put them on for the first time this morning and they fit perfectly!!! I get them at our tack shop that imports them. I'm getting the boots for the hind legs tomorrow but I think they'll fit. What are the DSB2s?

That's good to hear and thanks for the update, Lea-Anne. Where did you get them and, if it's not too rude to ask, how much were they - please don't answer the last part if you don't want to. The reason I'm asking is that I've only seen them in priced in Euros or pounds so would like to get an idea of what we will be shelling out on this side of the Atlantic. They look like a good boot to try on my big gelding.

Hi Sue

The boots are great. We ordered them from Westernshoppe. It cost about R830.00 but I don't think that will help you as we pay in Rands.

My mare hates boots or anything on her legs but she's fine with these as they fit the horse perfectly. Let me know if you can find any.

Stupid me! I forgot that you are in South Africa! Dah, chalk it up to a blonde moment...

I'll keep looking over here for them.

Back from vacation.

Thanks for the scoop on the boots.

DSBs are Dressage Sport Boots, DSB2s are the alleged "new and improved" version. Like Sue, I'm back to polo wraps.

I'll keep looking too.

Hi everyone!

Sue did you find the boots you were looking for?

Have a great day!

Thanks for asking but nope, haven't seen them in any of the shops so far and although some stores carry Veredus, they just don't stock the Piaffe boots yet.

So I'm still waiting but have put a bug in the ear of my favourite and biggest local tack shop...

Will keep you posted if things change!
