Posted on Sunday, Apr 9, 2000 - 11:22 am: I am staring to have a riding instructer teaching riding lessons on my property with my horses At this time the students she is teaching are ones that followed her from her last place she taught at.We are spiling the riding fees 50/50. I need a sample of a realse form for the students to sign . I would appreciate any ideas or a copy of a release form. I am checking into the cost of insurance, but untill I can build a bigger clientel it is fiesable.jackie |

IS the riding instructor an independent contractor? Or is this a partnership? with a partnership agreement or contract between you and riding instructor? What agreements are there bewteen you and riding instructor? I understand splitting fees. Would this be gross fees or net of your expenses, like insurance, which can be pro rated by various instructors, but for now a part paid for by instructor? Does instructor carry any liability insurance? I don't mean to overwhelm you with questions, but the more I can understand the circumstances the better thoughts I can give you |

Check the laws in your state for wording that might be necessary to include in your contract. I know it is hard to take on the expense of insurance but it will be much more expensive to be without it should the unthinkable happen.Dianne |
