MemberMy horses nuchial ligament right behind the poll vibrates from one side to another someone trained in the Masterson method first noticed, and since..like over a year..I can feel it when I lower or palpate his neck. No idea if it even bothers him..but would like to know about it. Never heard of before.
Thank you. - April 12, 2021 at 7:49 am #20075

KeymasterHello MB,
I wonder if you can send me a video of the vibration? I see the jpeg exceeded the allowed file size but you can send me images and videos to horseadvice@horseadvice.com. - April 19, 2021 at 1:26 pm #20083

MemberI was just sending a pic of my horse. By vibrating..i mean it seems to switch from one side of his neck to the other..where a bridle path would be on his poll. Thank you.

KeymasterHello MB,
I checked the photos and don’t see anything amiss but as you say there is nothing to see in the static photos. I remain uncertain as to what you are feeling. If you would like to pursue this perhaps having your veterinarian radiograph and ultrasound the area in question to see if any abnormalities show up.
