Search Engine Greatly Improved

One of the things I hated the most about leaving the old Horseadvice CMS was the excellent search engine we had and the way it indexed according to relevance. But I was sure I would find something similar in the new system but guess what it was not so. We have spent the last month tweaking the workings of our search engine and now we have something similar to before. When you do a search it lists all occurrences of the search term or expression, finds its similar grammatical forms, and it lists them according to the relevance of the term in the page. If it does not find all the words in the expression it will revert to a “or” rather than a “and” Boolean expression. I hope this helps you.
